Dancers Etiquette

  1. Dancers are expected to behave in a considerate and respectful manner at all times.
  2. Students represent Kenwood School of Ballet and misbehavior inside or outside of the classroom or facility will not be tolerated.
  3. Students are to treat each other with respect, understanding, and acceptance.
  4. Students are expected to thank their teachers, volunteers, and stage management at the end of every class, rehearsal, or show.
  5. Dancers are expected to have a positive attitude and respect the learning process both inside the classroom and in all production settings.
  6. Students should arrive 10-15 minutes prior to each class.
  7. Dancers arriving more than 10 minutes late for class will not be permitted to take class for that day.
  8. Dancers not wearing proper attire, wearing excessive, hard hair pieces or jewelry will also not be permitted to take class that day.
  9. Excessive negative behavior may warrant class suspension, or dismissal from the school without refund.
  10. KSB Anti Bullying Policy

     

    Dancers exhibiting any behavior that is in alignment with bullying another student is grounds for immediate dismissal without refund or warning.

     

    These behaviors include, but not limited to –

    Any form of physical assault, violence, or intimidation in the form of hitting, pushing, slapping.

    Any form of name calling

    Any social or online trolling or other forms of intimidation.

    There are ZERO exceptions to this policy for any reason whatsoever.

    If your dancer is struggling with self control or regulation for any of these behaviors, we encourage parent to seek outside support.
